  2. You will require 640,000 characters of Ramdom Access Memory to run TFO.  You
  3. may install the Shareware version on either a hard disk or on a 720k diskette
  4. laptop computer. The Commercial version will only run on a hard disk. In either
  5. case type "install" from the A: prompt with diskette 1 in drive A. The instal-
  6. lation program on the diskette will copy the files from each diskette, prompt-
  7. ing you when to insert the remaining diskettes. Please pay close attention to 
  8. the directions as you proceed with the installation. In the case of 720k lap-
  9. tops, be sure to have two (2) formatted disks ready with one inserted in drive
  10. B:.  After the files are copied type TFO to begin.  Drive and directory titles
  11. will be    confirmed and the files will be initially indexed.

  13. The TFO.BAT file has the line 'SET CLIPPER=V006;R132' in it. It reserves 132K
  14. of RAM when TFO is delivered. This amount of RAM runs The Write Perspective in
  15. RAM with TFO. You will need the CONFIG.SYS file to have two lines:  'BUFFERS=8'
  16. and 'FILES=20'.  Use The Write Perspective to check these files.  Be sure to
  17. reboot your computer after making any changes to your Autoexec.bat and Config.
  18. sys files. If TFO will not run in your computers available memory:  1. Be sure 
  19. that no TSR programs are running. 2. Change the SET CLIPPER line to read 'R032'
  20. and then use your own word processor with TFO. You need about 585,000 char. of
  21. RAM to presently run TFO with The Write Perspective or with PC-Write 2.7., less
